Abbiamo concordato con gli organizzatori della regata che arriveremo a Malta la mattina stessa della partenza e non sbarcheremo a terra, riducendo così il rischio di contagio. Sabato 17 ottobre alle 11.00 locali (9.00 UTC) partirà il primo scaglione delle 58 imbarcazioni iscritte alla regata, di cui 11 italiane. L’ultimo scaglione sarà proprio il nostro. Tra i nostri avversari il francese Ultim’Emotion 2, maxi trimarano di 80 piedi di Antoine Rabaste, e l’australiano Shockwave, trimarano di 63 piedi con skipper Jeff Mearing e Scott Klodowski. È stato un bel trasferimento, più d 600 miglia in 36 ore. Non vediamo l'ora di partire per la regata!
