We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). We sailed to Lady Musgrave Island - one of our favourite coral cays at the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef. 🏝️ Before we could explore, we had to navigate a narrow channel, dodge swirling eddies, and avoid a few coral bombies. Once inside the lagoon, we dropped anchor and jumped straight into our big blue backyard - swimming with sharks and whales, snorkeling the reef, and soaking up the off-grid sailing life aboard Mon Ami. 🌊🐋🦈
