We are so glad to share with you our first navigation aboard Hakuna Matata, our 1st Windelo 50 Adventure. She looks so beautiful at sea and the feeling of navigation was so exciting. She moves perfectly under the wind and she is really fast. The forward cockpit is wonderful, we were always well protected from wind and spray and we have a great view. With the tank repaired and the rain ceased we went in search of some fresh drinking water. Hiking up hills and rough terrain we find a suitable spring. With the help of some of the village kids, we do multiple trips to carry the water back to the kayak. Undoubtedly overloaded with 70L of water per trip and windy wavy seas, we just make it back to the boat before the kayak is completely under.
