There's a ton of boat down in George Town, Bahamas in January and February. We made it down here early spring last year and there were far less boats. I think we were told that during the cruisers regatta, there can be in upwards of 300 boats down here. Anyways, the cruising community down here is amazing. There's a regular cruisers net in the morning. They have rum tastings, volleyball, Texas Hold Em and lots of kids related activities. Juno and I left at 4am, drove to Port Washington to show off Matilda then dove back, returning home by 11:45pm. thank goodness for great audio books and Love's travel centers! 8.5 hour drive--each way!
