New! Excess have announced an upgrade to its popular Excess 11 sailing catamaran including an overlapping genoa instead of a self-tacking solent. More speed in lighter airs with improved trimming possibilities from the helm. ▫️ @EXCESSCatamarans ▫️ The new version with overlapping genoa adds 16.5% more sail area compared to the previous version with a jib. Yarik and I have just reviewed the final draft of a video that we both feel immensely proud of. We have been documenting the construction the 62 meter super sailing yacht “SIMENA” for the last few months, and the latest video showcases the launch of the vessel and explains what will happen next. The camera work and editing is superb, it really does justice to the beauty and size of the yacht. I cant wait to publish it on the @yachtbuilders YouTube channel next Sunday.
