Το Women in Yachting Conference σχεδιάστηκε από την ONDECK Events με στόχο να γίνει ένα δυναμικό βήμα διαλόγου, έμπνευσης και συνεργασιών. Οι συζητήσεις των πάνελ, από τις πρωτοπόρες που άνοιξαν δρόμους σε έναν απαιτητικό χώρο, μέχρι τις νέες επαγγελματίες της τεχνολογίας, του σχεδιασμού και της βιωσιμότητας, ανέδειξαν τον καταλυτικό ρόλο των γυναικών στο μέλλον του κλάδου. Ένα συνέδριο που ανοίγει νέους ορίζοντες Η ONDECK Events δεσμεύεται να συνεχίσει και να επεκτείνει τον θεσμό, θέτοντας τις βάσεις για ακόμη πιο στοχευμένες δράσεις τα επόμενα χρόνια. Το Women in Yachting δεν ήταν απλώς μια ημερίδα· ήταν μια εμπειρία που άγγιξε καρδιές, ενεργοποίησε συνειδήσεις και άνοιξε νέους ορίζοντες για το μέλλον του κλάδου. There's no playbook that we're following, and while we've put tons of time and research into designing all our systems, you can't fight reality. Just because everything "should" work doesn't mean it will. And in this week's episode we hit one of our first snags in our propulsion system. We've been getting a lot of questions around the complexity of some of our systems, and I think this is a great example of what that looks like in reality. We actually love this process, and we enjoy the challenge and the problem solving. We're trying to pull off some pretty ambitious stuff, and when it works, there's no greater feeling. And when it doesn't work, well that just means it's time to try something different. The build is definitely more about the journey than the destination, and obstacles like this are what's gonna help us build an even better boat than we could have imagined! Living on a sailboat, we come across the authorities far more often than you might expect! In the Mediterranean we experienced the Algerian and Croatian navy (Algerian was super stressful!!), and the Italian financial police, but Trinidad is the first time we've been stopped by the coast guard. It was late at night, around midnight, when we saw their blue flashing lights come at us as we motored through the First Bocas, returning to Trinidad after months sailing up and down the Caribbean island chain. For the 5th time I was a speaker at the largest 4-day conference for trainers: the ATD International Conference & Expo. ATD (Association for Talent Development) hosts this event every year in May and about 10.000 learning professionals come to visit. It’s a topic that many learning professionals found interesting, because they want people enjoying online sessions.
