This was my reaction to the first attempt at launching Freddie, after over a week of waiting past the day we were told we would be launched… We put our lives on hold to get her ready and to show up for this, not to mention getting our hopes way up that we would finally see her off land and back where she belongs, in the water… My heart was hurting and I felt frustrated… but tried to focus on positives. HIRW 2022 | Caught in a Dial-Up! You don't usually expect two supermaxis to get involved in an America's Cup style dial-up contest a minute before the start gun!But a couple of times this week andoo Comanche and Hamilton Island Wild Oats XI have used the start boat or the pin end mark to see if they can peel off their opposite number and gain the upper hand as they cross the line.And if you're the unsuspecting media boat caught in the middle of the circle work it can be very hard to know which way to go!
