The new Sunbeam 29.1 is equipped with a hydraulic swing keel. Optionally, the keel can also be steplessly adjusted electrically at the touch of a button from the cockpit. This allows us to respond to low water levels and offers owners maximum flexibility in their choice of sailing area. With a length of 9m and a width of 2.5m, the boat is easily trailerable. Thanks to the hydraulic swing keel, which has a minimum draught of 0.85m, the boat stands low on the trailer and thus guarantees a relaxed and safe journey to its destination. Regular viewers will know one of the things we've always wanted to do is moor the boat in winter in a place where we could easily go skiing. We came very close during our winter in Venice with the snow capped dolomite mountains always in view from our mooring. Sadly that year we were scuppered by Covid which kept the ski resorts in the Alps closed all winter. Well this year we've cracked it!
