Win $50,000 to Make a Short Film in Manhattan #filmmaking #contest

A dream come true for short filmmakers ??? Filmmaker in Chief is a one-of-a-kind opportunity giving artists across the country the chance to win up to $50,000 to direct, produce and edit a short film while living rent-free at in Lower Manhattan. The recipient of this unique creative residency will also be given a monthly living stipend, access to pre-production resources and a full editing suite. We're giving our Filmmaker in Chief full creative freedom with just one requirement: their film must feature Lower Manhattan, whether as a backdrop for a dramatic short, the subject of a documentary or simply a (visible) source of inspiration. Anyone who has walked the winding, historic streets of this neighborhood already knows that it feels like being dropped onto a movie set. We're excited to see how the winning filmmaker brings that reality to the big screen. A productive day on the sailboat. The permanent solution to the bilge pump issue where I bypassed the old switch, and a temporary solution to the failed shore-power battery charger. I will have to work on the permanent battery charging solution. I need a flexible charger that works from plugged-in shore power, and the future solar array. Does anyone have any recommendations? Now it is Happy Hour in the sun of the cockpit with Cara. She is adjusting well to life on the boat. There are so many places for us to explore around the marina. She goes for walks and beach romps multiple times a day. But mostly, she is content to just hang out with us and bask in the sunlight. #sailboatrestoration #livingonasailboat
