David Payne of the Australian National Maritime Museum gives us a little inspiration for the Australian Sailing Hall of Fame with a look at Barrenjoey, the 5.5M yacht which was sailed to Olympic glory in 1964. Grandfather Bill Northam and crew Peter “Pod” O’Donnell and James Sergeant, won Australia’s first Olympic sailing Gold medal in Tokyo in this beautiful boat which was designed in the US but built in Australia. The next piece of the puzzle was delivered by @UPS . The @Garmin STRIKER Vivid 5cv Fishfinder With GT20 Transducer will allow Seeking Sol Seeker to scan for those dreaded wing dykes along the Mighty MO. Heck, I might even drop a line to catch some of the passing fish.
