When in town one must always visit the local watering holes. 🍻 Of course we had to visit Green TurtleTavern, but we noticed there was a new place across from it that wasn’t here last time we were here. We stopped at Hofbrau Amelia, an authentic German style biergarten. We got a couple mugs of hefeweizen and giant pretzel that totally spoiled our dinner but was so worth it! 🥨 . Finally! A little weekend getaway… ✨ Or well, more like a full-on work weekend on Vela. We packed our biggest IKEA bag and moved aboard for a few days to get as much done as possible. The to-do list is still long, but waking up on the boat again makes all the hard work worth it! We tackled cleaning, polishing, anti fouling, engine maintenance, and a bunch of small fixes. And of course, Anker made sure to keep morale high with his morning yoga. Not exactly a relaxing getaway, but definitely our kind of weekend! ⛵
