With its deep V-hull and Alaskan bulkhead, the HewesCraft SeaRunner 220 is the perfect commuter/fishing boat in all weather conditions. It is powered by a 150 hp Yamaha engine with 836 hours, and also has a F9.9 yamaha high thrust kicker. The fully enclosed cabin is comfortable with two spring loaded seats and two bench seats. Its a beautiful day and we are having a bit of lunch on our way to Sydney Australia. This is our first major cruise shortly after launching. The boat has a temporary mast just over 6m long that we made up ourselves from 2 pieces of mast section, sleeved in the middle and erected on the beach at Southwest Rocks. We used 6 hand swagged wires.
