In 1996, an incredible incident unfolded at a zoo when a female gorilla named Binti Jua demonstrated remarkable bravery and compassion. A 3-year-old boy accidentally fell into her encampment, putting him in danger. Without hesitation, Binti Jua carefully picked up the child and carried him to the entrance of her enclosure. Growling at any approaching gorilla, she shielded the young boy from harm until help arrived. This heartwarming act of heroism showcased the deep emotional connection that can exist between humans and wildlife, leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed it. Binti Jua's actions have since become a symbol of the extraordinary bonds that can form between animals and humans. #AnimalHero #GorillaRescue #WildlifeCompassion #BintiJua #AnimalProtection #HeartwarmingEncounter

Episode 12 out now! 🌊 🎥 Sailing Sardinia to Tunisia to close out our very first season. https://youtu.be/CQzsAhNT9K4?si=BQbaY0-C5STt0-ne After two weeks of solo sailing down Sardinia’s rugged west coast, Sam reunites with Vika in Cagliari for one last taste of Italy before we check Kaia — our Lagoon 440 catamaran — out of Europe and make our way to Tunisia, Africa! With our three sailing dogs back onboard, we set off on our longest passage yet: 40 hours across the Mediterranean, two nights at sea, fiery sunsets, star-filled skies, and the steady rhythm of open water carrying us towards a brand new continent. Halfway along the Tunisian coast, we tried to drop anchor for a short rest — only to be told by the coastguard that anchoring wasn’t allowed. Tired but determined, we pushed on through a second night passage before finally reaching Monastir Marina. At last, Kaia is safely tied up in her new winter berth in Tunisia, where we begin life as full-time liveaboards in North Africa. Season One of Sailing Sacred Seas may be over, but this is only the beginning — the adventure continues from our new home in Tunisia! Link in bio or search YouTube for ‘Sailing Sacred Seas’ – let’s set sail together! ⚓💙 We hope that you will follow us on insta, Facebook and YouTube - SAILING SACRED SEAS #sailing #yacht #cruiser #sailingboat #travel #wanderlust #nature #adventure #boatlife #lagoon440 #lagooncatamaran #sailingyoutube #catamaran #menorca #sailingmenorca #sailingsardinia #nightsail #solosailing #sailingdogs #pug #borderterrier #Tunisia #europe #africa
