READ BELOW! 👇🏽 Trying to get over your fear of new gym equipment? Don’t want to look silly? Scared you’ll do it wrong? GIRL I GET IT 💕 I have signed up for a gym membership in over 8 countries this year, and EVERY. SINGLE. GYM has equipment I’ve never seen before - even as a fitness trainer with 12+ years of experience. While I typically prefer free weights and barbells, it is nice to change it up to try something different and NOT feel personally victimized 😅! So here are my tips for you: 1. Look at the instructional photos on the machine. They all come with them! It’ll show you what muscle group it works (SO helpful) and a brief set of instructions on how to set the machine up. 2. Start with light or no weight if possible - this is 2 tips in 1 because you can get in a warm up set, WHILE understanding how the machine moves. If you load it up heavy before figuring it out, chances are you will injure yourself, damage the machine, AND feel kinda dumb when it makes a loud noise. 3. Leave your ego at the door. I get that it can feel a little awkward walking around the machine trying to understand where the weight goes, or where your feet placement should be. But when it comes to gym equipment and your body - it’s always better to be safe than sorry. Ignore the gym bros and the fit chicks - focus on you and your workout. 4. Ask for help. That’s what gym staff are there for! They should all be certified if they’re on the gym floor, and at the very least, should understand how a piece of equipment works. Don’t be shy - the more you learn, the more confident you will be. What tips am i missing?! #fittok #fyp #fitnesstips

It’s been a bit quite. I’ve been really sick, as you can hear in this video😅 but here is one of my latest projects, not finished but hey… you gotta start somewhere! Little back story, I’ve had this huge solar panel sitting in my living area for over 2 months now, not connected just in my way. So I decided it’s time to get it installed but mounting on the canvas roof without damaging the canvas seems tricky, so I decided to build a hard top out of plywood and fiberglass and fit it onto the frame. Means I can easily mount the solar panel and other stuff like outdoor light and more fairy lights ✨ Thanks for the help As a complete newbie to the sailing world, I had no idea where to start my liveaboard life and I had so much to learn. But first things first. I bought a sailboat, an old wooden ex fishing boat, build for rough seas, 40 ft long and over 15t heavy. But before the sailing life begins I have to do a lot of work, from re caulking to placing planks and wood rot, repainting and anti fouling as well as turning the whole inside into a beautiful homely living space. Come along and help me figure out how to live on a boat and how to sail.
