A millimetre might not sound like a lot, but you’ll notice it on a wonky shutline. Those practicing multiple sports would appreciate Waterman's versatility. It is adapted to and augmented in performance to fit windfoil, wingfoil, supfoil and freefoiling disciplines. Early take-off results from the 1600 cm2 low aspect front wings. The tail stabilizer is designed with an incorporated tail angle adjustment system that needs no spacers and can be easily adjusted on the beach or even in the water. The front wing and stabilizer are mounted on a solid anodized aluminum fuselage of a slightly bigger diameter. That allows a more rigid and flex-free connection of all foil components. Waterman is assembled using 8mm diameter countersunk hex-head stainless steel screws for an extra edge in strength and corrosion resistance. All Loftsails foil sets can be customized with a wide range of interchangeable front wings, fuselages, tail wings and foil masts for a tailored, fine-tuned experience.

For the last 2 years, Franco and Manuel have been sailing on some of the world’s most unusual waters (Lake Titicaca, Loch Ness etc) in order to raise awareness of global warming and highlight the association Ocean Foundation who campaigns for the protection of the world’s oceans. The name of this initiative: The Grand Tour Sailing. On June 10th, they arrived in the spectacular Disko Bay, 350km for the Arctic Circle. The outside temperature was around 5°C with the water temperature at a brisk 2°C. The wind was quite light but the currents were strong. To immortalize this unique moment they indulged in some nautical jousting between the icebergs in the company of the Italian skipper Elisabetta Maffei. The next step for TGT ? Venice !
