Veleggiare all'interno della caldera di Santorini è sicuramente una esperienza emozionante. L'isola si è originata oltre 10.000 anni col crollo della volta della camera magmatica di un vulcano, ed è ora l'isola più spettacolare della Grecia. Le pareti rocciose nere a picco sul mare fanno spiccare sulla parte alta i paesini con le casette tutte bianche che si staglia contro il blu intenso del cielo terso: Fira, Oia, Imerovigli, Firostefani. If you don't have a launching trolley then the simplest way to get your boat up and down the beach is with an inflatable roller like this. Of course, unlike a trolley, you can take it with you, just deflate it and roll it up. Obviously you really need two or three (but I just have one - for now!). Don't get one that is too short or the boat might roll off the end of it. Of course a wide, flat bottomed boat works best.
