Chef on Board is a culinary journey through the Tuscan Archipelago with Lapo Magni and his grumpy Captain. Lapo will sail to five different islands to discover their flavours through different characters who have remarkable relationships with the Mediterranean. From spearfishing restaurateurs to Moray Eel cooking grannies, Lapo discovers all the secrets of the different islands and uses this new found knowledge to inspire dishes that he will prepare for a temporary restaurant on board. His mission is to redefine his cooking style, taking it back to the traditional way of Italian cooking. In every episode he will try to please his guests but also impress his captain, something which seems impossible.
