Toni and I continue our winter ritual and went to check on “Moments in Time”. What in the hell were we thinking? It is cold, it is windy, and it is snowing. It is days like this that make us question our sanity. Anyway, I think we learned our lesson. Next winter we will be where the palm trees sway, the bikinis abound, and the rum is plentiful. Mawan is a favourite dive site in the central area of Komodo, it has great coral, a good mix of macro and larger creatures and is quite a shallow easy dive. But the main attraction is of course the Manta !! We regularly see multiple Manta here, unto 20 at times mostly gathered around a cleaning station at just 5 metres depth !! Great place to get amazing videos and photos of these amazing creatures !!
