Ashley developed this knot in trying to duplicate a knot he saw on a boat in a local oyster fishing fleet. When he had a chance to observe the knot up close at a later time he realised it was just a badly water-swollen figure eight stopper knot. The Ashely stopper Oysterman's stopper knot has three rim parts, and these are quite symmetrical when viewed from the underside. From this view it closely resembles a three-strand wall knot. Ragazzi siamo quasi al giorno X! 😱 L’arrivo ufficiale sarà il 5 ottobre. Non a caso, nello stesso giorno uscirà il reel numero TRECENTOSESSANTACINQUE (anche se il viaggio è stato più lungo). Che dire… si sente il profumo di casa! L’impazienza dell’arrivo La nostalgia di qualcosa che sta per finire Insomma c’è tutto. Il panorama della Croazia oggi fa da cornice a una giornata piena dal punto di vista lavorativo. Per questo oggi ci godiamo poco il mare (tanto ormai Andrea ha scoperto l’acqua a 32 gradi e non entrerà mai più nel Mediterraneo). Seguendo le previsioni, è probabile che resteremo in questa splendida baia avvolta dal silenzio fino al 1 ottobre, giorno in cui molleremo uno degli ultimi ormeggi di questo lungo e straordinario viaggio.
