We did our prep work for a short journey and all predictions said we would be going into the wind and waves but that waves would start at 2 ft on 4 sec and go to 1 1/2 ft on 4 seconds. We thought that would be good for a motor for a 2 1/2 hour journey. The Predictions were wrong and we got much larger waves. Just made the journey a little bit more rocky than expected.

I saw up to 14 California Turkey Vultures circling this dead Southern Pacific Rattlesnake this morning, so I set up my camera to catch the vultures eating the snake. They were scared and stayed away most of the day, but I did get a timelapse of this one vulture going in for the meal. Have you every seen anything like this in nature? What have you seen?
