Toni and I continue our winter ritual and went to check on “Moments in Time”. What in the hell were we thinking? It is cold, it is windy, and it is snowing. It is days like this that make us question our sanity. Anyway, I think we learned our lesson. Next winter we will be where the palm trees sway, the bikinis abound, and the rum is plentiful. Propane-powered outboard maker Lehr has introduced what I think is the first outboard motor with self-contained electric starting. An optional feature of its new propane-powered, LP9.9 model, the motor carries its starting battery under the cowl, rather than in the boat.
