We use our dinghy anchor mostly to keep our dinghy from hitting the dock when there is a swell. What we do is tie the dinghy to the dock, shoot the dinghy anchor off the back, and then pull the anchor line tight enough so that the dinghy doesn’t hit the dock. After we came back to a popped dinghy in Mustique, we learned that it’s best to use an anchor! Bandwagon came with a Perkins 6.354 engine installed - it's far too massive to take out, so we are covering it with fire cloth, and creating a box around it, so it won't get covered in sawdust/swarf/slag/etc.
