Hi!👋🏻 We're Ed & Paige. We met in 2011, and since then have grown together as a couple through our love of travel, sailing, and finding ourselves on some pretty epic (sometimes questionable) adventures. In 2014 Ed completed an 18 month circumnavigation with his father (I got to tag along for most of the Pacific🙌🏻). Following his return we knew we would do whatever it took to get back on the water, this time in our own boat, together. After nearly 5 years of planning, saving, and questioning our sanity, we quit our jobs in 2019 and sold most of our non-essential/non-heartfelt belongings. We've decided to spend the next few years (or as long as sustainable) dedicating ourselves to travel and adventure while living aboard our Cabo Rico 34, Sea Pearl. - Cheers!🍻 Paige & Ed Follow along on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/sailing.seapearl Song Credit: 00:01 Cody Francis - Weather Any Storm https://www.epidemicsound.com/track/RZI7R4iUkt/

Step into the treacherous world of "The Lion of Crete," the enigmatic and ruthless pirate who ruled the Mediterranean in the 18th century. Discover the captivating stories of this mysterious figure, whose real name remains a mystery to this day. Commanding a fleet of pirate ships, he unleashed audacious attacks on unsuspecting merchant vessels, striking fear into the hearts of sailors across the region. Don't miss this thrilling glimpse into the audacity and ferocity of Cretan pirates that will leave you on the edge of your seat! Piracy in the Aegean Sea was a sophisticated operation that involved a network of pirates, merchants, and other collaborators. The pirates had bases on various islands and the mainland, from where they launched their attacks. They used fast and maneuverable ships, armed with cannons and other weapons, to overpower their targets. Once they captured a ship, they would loot its cargo, including money, precious metals, and slaves. They would then sell the loot to merchants and other traders, who were willing to buy them at a lower price. #shorts #pirates #piratesoftheaegean
