Every spring I post a video of the Multihull Centre. This has been my home base since 1982. And every year it seems to get ever more crowded with multihulls. In part of course because they are all much larger than 30 years ago. In this video you can see two Transit 38's, a Gypsy 28 and an Eclipse. Boat 8 – built at Persico Marine in Bergamo, Italy – is now complete, and is heading to the Boatyard in Lisbon, Portugal to be fitted out. It's a delicate operation, with the boat being delivered via road and sea on a Volvo truck.

Day 11 of our Christmas calendar brings you into the forward head, a clever little space where you have everything you need. A rule of thumb on board a boat is that everything should have at least two functions. The faucet is a great example of that! 🌟 You use it for washing your hands, just like at home, but this one also turns into your shower head! The main difference from the aft head? Here, the shower and sink are combined, making the most of the limited space. After your shower, you will pump out the water using the switch and then the pump will turn on and pump it out to the sea 🌊 What do you think? Could you manage in a head like this on board?
