As I type this we are down at the sailboat. Some great videos coming your way as we start the process of rehabilitating our boat. Lots of projects ongoing. Today was busy. But in the meantime, here is the last of the wheat harvest…putting the grain into the aeration bin to dry.

Finding wood rot on your timber boat is never a good thing, and I have found out quite a big section of my deck is rotten, and by rotten i mean rotten badly, turning into mush, sloppy timber soup when you try to pull it up. It needs to go as soon as possible before it spread even more. I was a bit hesitant at the start, pulling up all of the deck, the area got bigger an bigger, but in the end it all needs replacing so give me the hammer and let tear it all up! My heart cries a little! IG:@yvonnemarianna.travels

The Evinrude MFE (multi fuel engine) is one unusual outboard - it can run on everything from gasoline to Jack Daniels. It can be submerged, drained, and fired right up. And it's the choice of the Navy Seals, when it comes to outboard engines used for their landing craft. Want to learn more about the Evinrude MFE?
