Home built Transit 38 sailing catamaran by Woods Designs in the Bahamas 2011 Overtaking a motoring Norseman 43 catamaran even with no one steering (our autopilot was broken). When we first saw the Norseman it was sailing to windward on the same course as we were. But we caught it up quickly and, as always, the slower boat started its engines and dropped sails. This 2018 model Quicksilver Activ 555 Cabin is the perfect day boat, featuring a social cockpit layout and a cuddy cabin for overnight stays. It is equipped with a Mariner F60 outboard engine with 81 hours registered on the last service in July 2022, with very little use since. The boat has had two owners from new and has only been used on the River Thames. Antifoul was last done in July 2022. A River Thames boat licence is in place until 2025.
