For the last 2 years, Franco and Manuel have been sailing on some of the world’s most unusual waters (Lake Titicaca, Loch Ness etc) in order to raise awareness of global warming and highlight the association Ocean Foundation who campaigns for the protection of the world’s oceans. The name of this initiative: The Grand Tour Sailing. On June 10th, they arrived in the spectacular Disko Bay, 350km for the Arctic Circle. The outside temperature was around 5°C with the water temperature at a brisk 2°C. The wind was quite light but the currents were strong. To immortalize this unique moment they indulged in some nautical jousting between the icebergs in the company of the Italian skipper Elisabetta Maffei. The next step for TGT ? Venice !
Apart from the beautiful #abovewater and #underwater nature, the key to success for an unforgettable drive trip experience is also the briefing itself. A deep understanding of the #divesite we will visit is the top list for our #diveguide to ensure the comfort, safety and good experience our guest divers should have because our dive guides know the topography well, and can read the changing #underwater currents from a dive site, to know what species to expect and ensure we encounter them. So want to have an underwater adventure that makes you feel like you’re on the right side of your #liveaboarddiving holiday? It’s part family bowrider, part performance-minded sport boat, part overnight cruiser but most importantly the incredible 327 SSX is a Chaparral through and through. We’ve never had a product introduction that was more anticipated or revolutionary. With its go-anywhere deep-V hull design, standard fiberglass hard top, striking liquid-silver interior, dual forward facing helm seats and wildly practical full beam cabin, the 327 is a game changer. Onboard, don’t bother looking at the capacity plate. It’s unlimited. Mood setting cockpit and hardtop lighting are accented with optional underwater lights. A stainless steel windshield and heavy-duty rails say quality everywhere you look. Attention to detail is beyond compare. Low hours on rebuilt upgrade 8.1 Volvo Gi. Flatscreen TV, Air/heat.
