We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Ira took flight for a moment after being launched from her seat. Thankfully she landed in the boat, and thankfully her head was okay! It was a really hard beat out the gate and over the San Francisco bar. This place is no joke when it's full-on! Can you imagine what it would have been like when the current was in full flood just a few hours before!?
