Less than 100 days from now, I’ll be on the start line of the Golden Globe Race. And the truth is, I don’t know if anyone ever feels completely ready for something like that. I still have doubts. I still have a very long to-do list. I still wake up some days wondering if I’ve lost my mind. But over the last few years, I’ve learned something important: Confidence doesn’t come from knowing you’ll succeed. It comes from knowing you’ll find a way forward, no matter what happens. Every mile I’ve sailed. Every mistake I’ve made. Every crossing, repair, setback, and challenge. They’ve all been preparing me for this moment.
