Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden. As part of their 150th anniversary celebrations, Holland America Line's flag ship Rotterdam retraced her steps and made an Eastbound transatlantic crossing 150 years to the day after the historic first voyage. After leaving New York the first port of call was our home town of Plymouth in South West England. We went along to see the amazing welcome given to guests by the Cruise Plymouth volunteers as well as taking a look of this stunning ship moored off Plymouth's historic shore line.
