I asked James Evenson which used cruising sailboat he’d look for around $250,000 — and he had some strong opinions. ⛵ In this clip from Salty Podcast #97, James names his first choice, a few other serious bluewater contenders, and the boat he says is beautiful but may be just outside that price range. And yes… I had to ask why he hadn’t mentioned Island Packets. 😅 Watch the full episode here: https://saltyabandon.com/saltypodcast97 Get James’s book Be The Captain: http://bethecaptain.com 👕 Salty Podcast SPF Sailor Shirts: https://saltypodcast.myshopify.com 💨 Musty boat smells? One afternoon in October while bowhunting in the woods back home, big lazy flakes of snow started falling. The woods were so quiet and tranquil. It is a memory of home that I am very fond of. There’s no snow here on the sailboat. Just some light rain every now and then…almost daily. Winter here is quite different from what I am used to back in Alberta.
