Un percorso di formazione e certificazione creato da Be Skilled, la unit formativa di Water Tribe, unico RYA Training Center di Milano, tra i pochi ancora in Italia autorizzati a rilasciare le certificazioni utili ad ottenere lo Yachtmaster Offshore: corso Shorebased, SRC e First Aid, oltre a quelli complementari tipo Essential Navigation e Diesel Engine. Un programma formativo basato sulla didattica inglese della RYA, adatto a chi è in cerca di una crescita professionale ma anche a chiunque voglia approfondire le proprie competenze. Si affrontano tutte le tematiche legate alla vita di bordo: - il coordinamento e la gestione dell’equipaggio - la pianificazione di una rotta in base alle previsioni meteo e alle aree di navigazione - la conduzione dell’imbarcazione - la risoluzione delle diverse avarie agli impianti di bordo. Bacan’s Butterfly Man: A Hidden Forest Enclosure Filled With Butterflies 🦋🌿 On Bacan Island in North Maluku, Indonesia, lives a local man known as the “Butterfly Man.” Deep in the forest, behind a simple blue door, he has created a magical enclosure filled with tropical butterflies, a hidden world that few travellers ever get to see. 🦋 Who is Bacan’s Butterfly Man? He is a local resident of Bacan who keeps a large forest enclosure where butterflies live and fly freely among the plants. During our visit, he led us deep into the forest to show us his remarkable butterfly sanctuary. 🌏 Why is Bacan Island famous for butterflies? Bacan is part of the Maluku Islands, also known as the Spice Islands, and it has a special place in natural history. In 1859, the naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace collected and described Wallace’s golden birdwing (Ornithoptera croesus) on Bacan. It remains one of the most celebrated butterflies in the world. 🚪 What is it like inside the butterfly enclosure? Behind the blue door, you step into a “very magical enclosure” alive with butterflies of all colours and sizes.
