There’s no party quite like a yacht party—especially when it’s on a luxurious catamaran, sailing through the stunning Croatian Adriatic. Recently, a lively crew from abroad joined us for a one-of-a-kind sailing adventure aboard a fully-equipped catamaran, expertly guided by one of our experienced skippers from Alitis Yachting. What followed was a week of epic fun, breathtaking scenery, and memories that will last a lifetime. Why Choose a Catamaran for Your Sailing Party? Catamarans are perfect for group holidays and party sailing trips. With wide open decks, spacious lounge areas, and multiple cabins, they offer comfort and privacy—without sacrificing the social vibe. Whether sunbathing up front with music playing, enjoying cocktails at sunset, or dancing under the stars, a catamaran gives you the space to truly enjoy every moment. Plus, thanks to the stability of a catamaran, even guests who are new to sailing can relax and feel comfortable on the water. Alitis Yachting: The Ultimate Sailing Experience The crew chose Alitis Yachting for their trip—and they couldn’t have made a better decision. With a fleet of modern catamarans and a team of skilled, friendly skippers, Alitis delivers more than just a charter. It’s a curated experience. Their skipper wasn’t just there to sail the boat—he was the local guide, the safety expert, the party DJ, and sometimes even the grill master! He knew the best hidden bays for swimming, the top beach bars for sunset cocktails, and the perfect sailing routes to match the crew’s vibe. The Itinerary: Sun, Sea & Sound From Split to Hvar, then onward to Vis, Brač, and the Pakleni Islands, every day brought something new: Morning swims in turquoise bays Daytime sailing with cold drinks and great tunes Afternoons exploring charming coastal towns Evenings filled with laughter, fresh seafood, and dancing under the stars In Hvar, the crew danced the night away at Carpe Diem beach club. In Vis, they hosted a private dinner party on the deck, followed by a spontaneous karaoke session. And in every anchorage, they soaked in the magic of the Adriatic. A Party to Remember What made this trip truly unforgettable wasn’t just the destinations—it was the energy on board. Sailing brings people together in a way that’s hard to describe. It’s the sea air, the shared adventure, the freedom to be completely present and alive. That’s the essence of a party at sea. The crew ended the week sun-kissed, smiling, and already planning their next sailing escape. Why Guests Keep Coming Back Chartering a catamaran with a professional skipper from Alitis Yachting means you get to focus on having fun, while everything else is taken care of. It’s safe, stylish, and completely stress-free. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, a bachelor or bachelorette party, or just living life to the fullest—this is the ultimate way to do it. And yes—they’ll be back next summer. Guaranteed. Are you ready to sail, party, and create stories worth telling? Alitis Yachting is ready to welcome you aboard. Let’s make your next adventure unforgettable. ALITIS YACHTING yachting@alitis.hr +38598229437 croatia-sailing-family-holidays.com/

⛵The OXO method is a simple and effective way to tie a line onto a boat cleat and is often used by boaters to secure their boats in place. Here are the steps to follow: Begin by taking the end of the line and making a small loop, with the standing part of the line on the bottom and the working end on the top. Bring the line's working end down and around the base of the cleat, making an "O" shape. Next, bring the line's working end back up and over the top of the loop, creating an "X" shape. Then, bring the line's working end down and around the base of the cleat again, creating a second "O" shape. Finally, bring the line's working end back up and over the top of the loop again, creating a second "X" shape. To finish, snug up the line by pulling on the standing part of the line and making a few half hitches around one of the horns of the cleat to keep the line securely in place. The result should be a secure and reliable knot that will keep your boat safely moored to the cleat. It is important to remember always to double-check your knots and make sure they are secure before leaving your boat unattended. #sailingexperience #sailinglife #boatlife #short
