This unit runs on both 12v and 110v. It's stayed fairly cool even with 4 days of no power ( I lost my solar panel controllers early on and so my plan of running it 12v 6 hours a day changed. There's a very special dive site in Alor, Indonesia that is completely covered in anemones. There is quite often current here so it is a great drift dive. Just whiz along and enjoy the view. It is incredible, even inch of the dive site is a big blanket of anemones.
