Tuesday Tips: Mastering Jib Trim on a Catamaran ⛵️ Ready to perfect your jib trim? Think of the jib as the leading edge of an airplane wing—smooth and balanced for optimal performance. 🎯 Key tips: • Telltales should flow back on both sides of the sail, with no leech luffing. • Maintain twist from bottom to top, matching the main sail's shape. • Keep the slot (the space between the jib and main) just right to sustain attached airflow across the main sail for lift and speed. 🌊 Sail smarter, not harder—find the perfect balance! #TuesdayTips #SailTrim #CatamaranSailing #BalanceCatamarans #SailingTips

It is amazing what Sandhill Cranes will attack or chase, these birds have no fear. I didn't see the alligator when I first started recording, the sun was in my eyes. Danielle pointed the alligator out when she watched it on the camera viewfinder. Wish I would have known or the video would have been more stable. Did not see the alligator when recording this, sun in my eyes.
