Home built Transit 38 sailing catamaran by Woods Designs in the Bahamas 2011 Overtaking a motoring Norseman 43 catamaran even with no one steering (our autopilot was broken). When we first saw the Norseman it was sailing to windward on the same course as we were. But we caught it up quickly and, as always, the slower boat started its engines and dropped sails. After setting sail and a day under way, we decided we were a little slow. We anchored to scrub the hull and found a small tangle on the prop. Great night for a swim
