► Since 1973, the La Rochelle Boat Show, known simply as “Le Grand Pavois” in French, has been THE not-to-be-missed afloat show on France’s Atlantic coast. With 750 boats on display and a record 80,000 visitors, the 2023 event (that ran from September 20 to 25, so a little earlier than usual) clearly benefited from the scheduled absence of the Paris Boat Show at the end of the year. According to the organizers, no more than 10 square feet was left available at the Port des Minimes! Of course, the Multihulls World team was there. Is it crazy to buy an old boat with no clue about sailing? MAYBE A LITTLE :) But hey, I do love a good challenge! I will make my skippers ticket and learn how to sial, learn how to fix up this old girls and maybe one day sail her around australia. I've already learned so much and met so many amazing peole. Wow! Marina Sant'Elena è proprio nuova, inaugurata nel luglio 2015, si trova accanto ai giardini della Biennale nella parte pià verde di Venezia, in soli 15 minuti a piedi si arriva in Piazza San Marco, vicino ai più buoni ristoranti e famosi locali della laguna ma lontano dal rumore della folla dei turisti.
