This is the 🥨 Ground-Line Hitch which is more secure than the Clove Hitch. It's a great knot for tying fenders to guardrails. Fenders are expensive, so more secure is good! 🔸 Wind the rope around the rail and cross over diagonally. Come back around the rail again, pass across diagonally again and tuck into the first loop. 🔸 It's pretty easy when you get the hang of it. It was a welcome return after a few days in the shed for Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli who looked utterly sublime in their LEQ12 (as they always do), revelling in the 13-15 knots conditions and determined to put maximum pressure on their Wing 03 and new Wing 04 to extract the maximum data. This was a session of rapid pace, searing bear-aways and plenty of straight-lining to validate the computer simulations in a very real world environment. The on-water recon team noted the sailors pushing the foils through rapid JKs and several stints of acceleration and deceleration as they assessed the stall and detachment points on the foils. Pasar por debajo de un puente a vela siempre es algo emocionante. También lo es en nuestro querido Gran Nergha, un Jeanneau Sun Odissey 51.9. El puente de Rande es un icono en la Ría de Vigo. Pasar por debajo implica dificultad, sobre todo si en el día que has elegido sopla viento fuerte. Está situado en el estrecho de Rande y esto hace que el viento se encañone, aumentando su intensidad y rolando en la periferia. A mí me gusta la acción.
