The new Samson Post is looking goooood :) I love the days when you can see the progress and today is one of those days. Sanding and painting just makes the biggest difference, oh I can't wait to see the new post on stormy. I might need some advice of you guys: everyone tells me to paint the new samson post (the old one was painted grey) but I really love the timber look. Keep it natural or paint it? What do you think? Todays short, we are tearing off the old windlass on my sailboat to get it all cleaned up and resealed to mount in a new stainless backing plate! The original washers just were not going to cut for my liking so out with the old and in with the new!
