This week we skipped our weekly video as we have been busy with home renovations and simply lack of sailing. However, we never miss an opportunity to embrace natures beauty, this time in the form of a common dolphin family swimming by our anchorage. Two of the four adults had younglings with them, who they seem to be teaching. Pretty cool to spot them by your front door ! Nature is awesome and nature needs us as much as we need it ! Perhaps modern technology will and already is able to show us the incredible similarities we all share, the complex social behaviours and interactions, the meaning of family and so much more :) Ps. Manchmal braucht es keinen Sturm, um einen Segeltag unvergesslich zu machen. Eigentlich lief alles perfekt. Anleger gefahren, wieder ausgelaufen und bereit für die nächsten Meter auf der Mosel. Doch dann verschwand der Wind. Plötzlich wurde es ruhig. Die Segel hingen schlaff und aus der Fahrt wurde Stille. Genau in diesem Moment kam eine Frage, mit der ich überhaupt nicht gerechnet hatte: „Liebst du mich noch?“ ❤️ Segeln bedeutet für uns nicht nur Wind und Geschwindigkeit. Es sind genau diese unerwarteten Momente, die jede Ausfahrt besonders machen und später die besten Geschichten erzählen. Jedes Logbuch bringt uns unserem Traum vom eigenen Segelboot ein kleines Stück näher.
