After kindly being gifted a cook book by a Trinidadian vendor at the Central Market in Port of Spain I've been practicing cooking different local dishes. It's a style of cooking that's jam packed with spices and fresh ingredients that pack a punch in terms of flavour! I know how seriously the people of Trinidad and Tobago take their cooking so wanted to make sure I could do a decent effort before I shared how it went! OCC members, Fred and Sandy onboard their catamaran Dakota Dream, were anchored at Antigua when this happened to their generator. It seems someone forgot to turn off the hot-wired raw water pump for their Northern Lights M673, 6 kw generator when they left the boat for Happy Hour. Upon returning to their boat, they realized the problem and shut down the still running raw water pump, too late. The generator was hydro-locked. This is what happens when an injector is removed to get raw water out of the cylinders. Ouch! Diesel and salt water sprays everywhere!!!
