Vilanova i La Geltrú is a dream venue to host the world’s best foiling sailors with plenty of berthing for spectator craft and an on-water operation that will ensure safe viewing, close to the action, right on the boundaries of the racecourse. The racing itself promises to change the way you see yacht racing. Time-on-distance at speeds that could exceed 40 knots, challenges the accepted norms of racing sailing and with all six teams fielding their strongest sailor line-ups, nobody wants to suffer a poor regatta. That ensures desperately close, no-holds barred racing where consistency will be rewarded over technological advances and for the two teams that perform the best, a place in the Match Racing Final awaits where the first bragging rights and pecking order of the 37th America’s Cup will be established. Registrations are now open for exclusive on-water action on a dedicated page on the 37th America’s Cup website: https://www.americascup.com/on-water-information SUBSCRIBE to the official America's Cup channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/americascup Like America’s Cup On Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/americascup Follow America’s Cup On Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/americascup Follow America’s Cup On Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/americascup Stay up to date with the America’s Cup newsletter: https://www.americascup.com/en/newsletter The 37th America's Cup will be Defended in Barcelona by four-time America's Cup winner, the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron represented by their team, Emirates Team New Zealand. #AmericasCup #AC37 #Barcelona2024

After a great night at the Quoile yacht club that ended up continuing on into the wee hours of the morning on GTR the Redline Racing Team was great we wind and rain to sober everyone up for Race 3 of the Quoile Yacht Club springs series followed shortly after Race 1, the sun finally burnt of the morning fog to deliver a fantastic afternoon for racing. The two J109's GTR and Jammie Dogger were only meters apart as the lined up for a downwind start out of the head of the Quoile river. Jammie Dogger had windward position on the line but GTR managed to put their kite first while enabled to shoot out from the leeward position, getting to the increasing breeze first which allowed them to stretch out an early lead on the way to Mark 3. Going to Red was setup perfectly on the long beat to Mark 11 with the Jib angle in tight she raced fast and high on the flat water. After winning the second start in a row they did not look back, increasing they lead at every mark to take race 2 of the QYC spring series.
