For more information please visit our website https://www.balireply.com/boat/komodo/m-y-oceanic-liveaboard/ Built in Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo) in 2012 with selected tropical timbers, Oceanic was acquired by our company in 2017 and subsequently renovated fully to customize her for diving liveaboard cruises, applying all the knowledge acquired during the previous 16 years of successfully running Ondina. MY Oceanic's numerous and spacious common areas make her a perfect choice for smaller groups, while her powerful engine provides good speed to explore the eastern regions of Komodo, Flores, Alor and the Banda Sea. The cabin ,a new upper-deck suite was added, which together with the lower-deck suite and the remaining four standard cabins (all with double bed and top bunk), comfortably accommodates 12 pax in 6 double AC/ensuite cabins. Three gensets provide all-around-the-clock 220 v electricity supply, with two-pin European standard sockets.

I'm helping a lovely couple sail their boat from Baltimore to Ft Lauderdale. It's their first long passage, and they asked me to mentor them along the way. There's nothing more comforting than having someone around to tell you that the seas are big, but they're normal or know how to quickly troubleshoot when something goes wrong. If you're looking for help on your first long passage or delivering a new boat to your home port, get in touch: https://sailingbritican.com/sailboat-delivery-assistance/ #learntosail #sailboatdelivery #boatdelivery #captainforhire #sailingadventure #sailingexperience

Practicing the use of radar provide you with an edge when you really need it. We sailed from Sandoy to Hestur (the faroe islands) and the fog prevented us to see the islands. When we were arriving at Hestur, the radar and navionics help us identify the ferry which was heading to Hestur as well, so, we made a U turn to give the ferry priority to head in first. Then, the tide was running fast, so Skipper Chris did the ferry gliding to let us have a smooth and safe entrance.
