To avoid terrible sailing conditions, we made the bold choice to cross the notorious Sulu Sea from Malaysia to Palawan, stopping overnight on an island deep in the red zone!? Known for pirate activity and unpredictable weather, this quickly became one of our most intense and nerve-wracking passages yet. The J109 was in a good spot at the start of the regatta. It was a perfect day for sailing and close racing between all the boats. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying the short bits from the 2025 racing season and the sailboat action!.
