Exploring the Triton Bay named by some as ‘the next frontier of diving.’ Leaving the small port of Kaimana, there is nothing but thick rainforest, gorgeous inlets, and uninhabited beaches, undisturbed by human activity. If you are looking for an adventure and want to explore some of the most remote and unknown areas, this is the place to go. Conservation International only surveyed triton bay in 2006, and there is only one small resort. Vaiatea liveaboard uncovers the top of what is believed one of the most diverse and pristine areas. There are sandy bottoms with huge boulders, covered in the most colorful soft corals, and are considered even better than Raja Ampat. The visibility can vary as the sites are between the islands bringing nutritious currents feeding these untouched corals. Heading down the ICW just north of Palm beach, looking for a good spot to drop anchor. Found a good spot referred to as Conch Bar. Ten feet of water with excellent protection all around. Its a small little cut out circled by multi million dollar houses all around. They paid five to ten million for the pleasure of these views. Me? I get to enjoy them for free! Splash down the anchor and enjoy a little bit of the good life coastal sailing Florida. Having a little fun with slo-mo videography. First time using a couple tricks I learned recently on good ole YouTube.
