We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Sono 198 giorni che abbiamo mollato gli ormeggi da un pontile conosciuto per immergerci h24 in mari inesplorati. Sempre nuovi, mai ribattuti. Non ancora, almeno. Abbiamo superato la metà di questo viaggio (oltre 7.000 miglia) e comunque solchiamo sempre acque sconosciute. Mi riferisco alla vita in barca ma anche alla vita in barca insieme ad Andrea. Vivere in un ambiente come questo ti costringe a lavorare profondamente su te stesso, e non mi riferisco agli spazi stretti. Sei obbligato, letteralmente, a lavorare sulla tolleranza, sull’ordine, sul dialogo. Sulla pazienza. Prima di tutto con te stesso, in secondo luogo con l’altra persona, perché non può esistere dialogo se noi per primi non siamo in grado di comunicare alle orecchie più testarde di tutte, le nostre. A rinfrescare questi pensieri vi è incorniciato un mare così azzurro che sembra di trovarsi in piscina. Due passi in spiaggia, poi pranzetto colorato (dove ci sono verdure colorate giungono vitamine e nutrienti diversi). A concludere la giornata un pontile deserto, che porta ancora le centinaia di impronte di altrettanti turisti, ormai andati. Di giorno la spiaggia è di tutti, di sera il tramonto appartiene a noi, solitari in questa baia selvaggia, pittori verbali di un viaggio sconfinato. Camilla
