Tom and Karen Grimmett chose to take delivery of their new Sun Odyssey 440 in Southern France so they could sail the Mediterranean, that was in 2018. Today, 5 years later, and they are working their way up the European Coast and plan to be in Norway for the summer of 2023. It was time to leave the Bahamas and make our way back to the United States. We dropped our friends off at Green Turtle Cay Marina and started to make our way to either Charleston, Beaufort or, ideally, Mathews, VA. The channel was a bit more tricky than I had expected.
