We're motoring into West Lake Cove for an overnight stay on our 1983 Catalina 30 sailboat. The bilge will be flooded when we get there, but we'll have to fix it later because we're having a date night! Just the two of us! We're a sailing couple, on Lewisville Lake, Texas, and we do love to be anchored in the cove and cook on the grill. We recently navigated the uncharted Kinabatangan River, aka 560 km of wild, winding waterways home to monkeys, elephants and other rare and endangered wildlife. The surface looks calm, but at night, those glowing eyes of giant crocs in the torchlight remind you who really owns this place... very splash had our crew looking twice!
