This has to be one of the quirkiest sailing catamaran designs out there. The Island Hopper 37 was developed by Uwe Jasperson (JAZ Marine) who was involved in the early Gunboats. ▫️ This coastal cruiser is 37' high performance cruising cat with a forward cockpit. The boat a real "Jetsons" feel to it : a great boat for fast cruising and weekend trips. ▫️ It's a pretty unique design, from the forward cockpit (very unusual in this size of yacht) to the light displacement and galley-down design, this boat focuses on performance, a boat to sail. I believe they only made a couple of them, so ultimately this was too niche for the market back then. ▫️ What are your thoughts? Nuestro primer contacto con el velero fue toda una experiencia. Después de mucho tiempo buscando barcos por todos los puertos, fue desde nuestra casa, en la pantalla del ordenador, donde tuvimos el primer flechazo con el Forquilla y movimos cielo y tierra para poder ir a conocerlo en persona. Cuando lo tuvimos delante por primera vez, supimos que era exactamente lo que estábamos buscando y desde entonces nos lo ha demostrado en incontables ocasiones ⛵️
