The 2022 summer created many more memories for the team at bottom up boats. Our Fav 5 Photos came from both the East and West Coast and North and South of Ireland. Photo 1 was a spectacular sunset over Kilrush Marina on the night before we started the delivery of our J109 to Strangford Lough in Northern Ireland. Photo 2 was from the South East corner of Ireland with the Sun Rising over Kilmore Quay Photo 3 is the our recently purchased J109 Going to Red under full sail on her home waters of Strangford Lough. Photo 4 was surfing down some wave at over 10 knot under just main and jib as we race to get to the Fastnet Rock before sunset. Photo 4 our Fav of 2022 was a spectacular sunset over the fastnet rock with the sun lighting up the top of the lighthouse to help guide us to our overnight stay on Cape Clear Island. Oggi è una giornata di buone notizie e di cattive notizie. È una giornata di acquisti spaziali, di schiene dritte e di fisioterapia evitata. In questa giornata l’autopilota non viene aggiustato e speriamo tanto possano farlo domani. Sarà una giornata lunga domani perché temiamo che le nostre speranze si spegneranno tristemente. Allora dobbiamo compensare oggi con una bella giornata. È per questo che, finito il lavoro, andiamo a noleggiare una deriva (sulla quale io non sono mai salita, oltretutto). Ma oggi si trasforma in una giornata un po’ sbilenca, perché stanno riponendo proprio in questo momento le derive e fino a domani non si potranno noleggiare. Così la giornata in deriva diventa la giornata di passeggiate, di gelati e di treccine scampate tra le risate. Cosa ci insegna questa giornata?
